About Us

North State Doula Program was founded to provide doula support for birthing families throughout the childbearing year, regardless of ability to pay. We are committed to improving maternal outcomes by encouraging the practices of informed consent, parental choice and evidence based perinatal education.

A family's memory of their birth experience will last a lifetime, and every family deserves the best shot at a great start!

North State Doula Program provides prenatal education, continuous in-hospital labor support, reflective listening, postpartum support, lactation support, and community referrals.

We are committed to improving maternal health outcomes, reducing inequities in birth and helping you and your family feel empowered, educated and listened to as you experience the life changing transformations that parenthood brings.
